Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Location: Charlie's hotel room
Characters: Elizabeth Swann, Charlie Dalton
Status: Private.
Rating: PG... for now.
Summary: Elizabeth is back from her adventure, and is very excited to see Charlie. Unfortunately, she doesn't really know what has been going on in her absence.

Elizabeth Swann had been through Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and a small portion of Quebec on her adventure. She'd managed to camp a week at Lake Winnipeg, pick up several odd pieces of weaponry, and beat a vagrant to unconsciousness in a fist-fight (she suspected it was an attempted rape, but he was malnourished and, therefore, extremely weak).

Doing all of these things on her own had proved terribly exciting, but she found that, as she gazed up at the stars at night, there was an absent ache in her chest. She missed Charlie passionately.

And so, sun-blonde, hauling a backpack the size of a small cow, she outside the door of his hotel room and knocked. For the first time in a very long while, she found herself quivering with anticipation.
