There was a phone ringing. Lorelai registered that and grumbled curling deeper into the warm body draped over her. The phone kept ringing though. Finally Lorelai reached out an arm without moving from this warm spot or opening her eyes.
"Hate early," she grumbled into the phone. "Must kill early and whoever this is."
There was a pause and Lorelai opened her eyes. A smile slipped over her face. Oz had stayed the night.
"No the Mounties were suprisingly good kidnappers. They fed me champagne...hence the not realizing it's not early," she said, sounding only slightly more awake.
Another pause.
"I bought an Inn here. Eight rooms a kitchen. The name's still up for debate but so far I like Cherry Blossum. Possibly Snowfall...yeah that's what I was thinking."
Pause
"You can come see it anytime. It'll have a special Rory room instead of a Presidental suite."
Short pause.
"No...I did not celebrate alone," Lorelai said as she glanced at Oz still asleep beside her. "I celebrated with a boy...who likes me," she grinned. "I'll dish with you later. We'll sit down witch chips and Beaches and do the girl talk. Love you, kiddo," she finished and hung up the phone.

"I'll add that to the note I'm passing Rory. OMG I met a boy I really like and he really likes me!!! Do you think he'll ask me to the dance? Check yes or No," Lorelai laughed. She tangled her fingers in his hair and dipped her head, kissing him deeply. She pulled away slightly.
"Coffee...I need coffee. Then we can come back here and continue this."

"Well now I think that's incentive enough." Oz got out of bed and pulled on his baggy jeans as he stood up. He leaned down over Lorelai and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "I'll be right back." He turned to go to the kitchen and start the coffee machine.

Lorelai snuggled back down into the bed, pulling a pillow against her chest with a soft smile. This was a pleasant if unexpected turn of events. She hadn't expected to come to Canada to find anyt except a fresh start. In fact she'd contemplated a nunnery for a while but had then discovered Nuns don't drink coffee or shop for shoes.

Oz grinned at the sound of Lorelai yelling through the house and added more coffee into the filter. He flipped on the coffee maker and searched for a coffee mug, finally coming up with one. He set it on the counter and went to poke his head in the bedroom door. "Black or loaded?"

Oz chuckled to himself and opened the fridge, pouring himself a glass of water while he waited for the coffee to be ready. He glanced to the toaster and smirked, surprised that there was actually a Hello Kitty one on the counter. Once it was, he poured the oversized mug full and then grabbed his own glass and went back into the bedroom.
"Coffee is served." He held the mug out to Lorelai. "And you really have a Hello Kitty toaster. Fun."

"I've never actually progressed past sixteen. I blame it openly on Rory," Lorelai smiled and took the coffee mug. She sighed contentedly, closed her eyes and took a deep breath of the coffee. "Hmmm definite worship. There'll be a sacrifice in your name later."
She opened her eyes as Oz sat down on the bed. She reached out and ran her finger down a long snakelike tattoo of symbols that wound around his spine and ended in a wolf's head at the small of Oz's back. "So, the tattoos, bad boy thing or rocker boy thing?" Her eyes lit up "And ooo can I be a groupie? Please, please, please? Well, The groupie since the share philosphy has been lost on me since kindergarten. I'll fullfill a life long ambition of mine."

"Neither... just because tattoos." Oz said honestly. He looked towards Lorelai and shrugged. "I mean I'm not really the bad boy type but the rocker boy... well... I just kinda play guitar sometimes. But single groupie away."
