Midnight Arousal: The Roamings of Companions

Summary: Kyle is up in another one of his sleepless, dreamless nights and goes for a walk. While out he notices how beautiful the stars are and desides to get closer...
He wasn't sure where to go or what to do. He didn't have a place to go, nor a thing to do. The outside was dark but the inside was darker and thus, Kyle went outside. It wasn't that he was afraid of the dark, no, he was born into it. Kyle just liked the outside, also a place he was born into, where the air was fresh and the stars shined up high. They sparkled and glittered as their big balls of burning gas that some mistaked for the lion kings of the past. Kyle hadn't actually gotten around to studying the stars, but he would soon enough and learn all their wonder.
Now, however, he walked backwards up the middle of Baker Street with his eyes up to the vast space beyond. They were glorious, outstanding, enraptouring. Finally he couldn't take standing on the ground, even a few feet higher would do. Anything! With that crazy look in his crystal blue eyes he turned around and jogged off to the closest building, which happened to be Harry's and Snape's, and climbed up. Easily he was on the roof after quickly analyzing the best route to the top using his insane mathematical skills. He went as quietly as he knew how, but not as quietly as was necassary. At least one of the two within would wake up, if not both. Though Kyle was unaware of this and just plopped down with his knees bent at the edge and feet swinging in the air. Leaning back on the heels of his hands he smiled calmly and gazed at the stars. They seemed all the farther the closer he got.
