When the door opened, Snape prepared himself for the inevitable dash to the bed and the jump onto the bed that got him kick in the bollocks last time. He waited until Teddy settled before talking to him.

"Another nightmare?" he asked, running his fingers through Teddy's hair.

Teddy shivered and scooted closer to Severus' side. He peeked out from under the blankets and grabbed onto to Severus' sleep shirt. "Uh huh."

"Potter!" he shouted. There was no reason he should be able to sleep when he could not. When Harry entered the room, Snape pinned him with a dark stare. "You're moving into my room as of now."

He reached over Teddy and pulled back the covers on the opposite side of the bed. "Bed. Now." he ordered.

Teddy peaked up from where his face was buried. "Pwease, Harry," he begged, his voice still trembling. "Want you too."

Snape sighed when Teddy's thumb went straight to his mouth before burying his face again in Snape's shirt.

Harry rubbed at his eyes, yawning into his elbow as he moved sluggishly across Snape's bedroom. He collapsed onto the bed, grabbed Teddy around the chest and pulled him back against him. Tiredly, he placed a kiss on the top of the boy's head, then one to Snape's shoulder, before snuggling into the pillows.

"What happened?" he murmured, sandwiching Teddy between them.

Snape rolled his eyes. "Not good enough. At some point we're going to have to discuss your mother, Potter, it might as well be tonight."

"Does it have to be?" Harry slouched down low in his chair until his feet brushed against Snape's.

"I would like it to be," Snape replied, nudging Harry's foot with his own. "I'm rather tired of waiting for the other shoe to drop. Your mother is here. Your godfather is here. Your whatever Lupin is to you, is here and you've yet to say what you think about it."

"Maybe that's because I don't know myself." Dragging his finger along the rim of his cup, Harry managed to avoid Snape's stare all together.
