Finally, Adama had managed to locate the clinic. And not before long, either. He stepped slowly through the doors, supporting Laura on one side, and Moira on the other. "This looks like it," he said. "Now let's see about getting you two some help."

Bill looked a mess, with his suit covered in dust and his tie askew - but that was nothing compared with the condition of the two ladies he was supporting.

Laura was tired and leaning more and more into Bill. The pain had come back as they walked, but she didn't want to make Moira think she had to do anything else.

"I think something's really wrong," she whispered to Bill.

"I think so, too," the witch replied, having a bit of an overdeveloped sense of hearing that she wasn't entirely sure was not due to her magick. "You are going to the first doctor we see. I'm more stable than you are. I wish I weren't so bloody hurt, else I could have had you all healed already."

Laura looked over at Moira apologetically. "I'm sorry, I just," she didn't get much else out before falling completely against Bill.

Luckily his 'Viper reflexes' were very much on alert at present, and Bill managed to catch her as she fell.

Which was just as well, really, as they both ended up on the floor, Bill cursing. Gods, he hoped he hadn't injured her any further.

He shot Moira a glare. "You are both going to see a doctor," he said in the sternest tone he could muster.

Margaret saw the woman fall out of the corner of her eye, and ran over. "Oh my." She knelt down by the woman. "Somehow, I don't think it's just a concussion, am I right?"

Bill looked up at the woman in blue scrubs, who was looking over Laura with great care. "She said her abdomen was hurting," he told her. He motioned with a free hand to Moira. "And this one has broken ribs, she says."

Laura blinked, focusing on Bill and then a new person.

"I can taste blood in my mouth. But I'm not bleeding out of my mouth. I'm not, am I Bill?" she asked.

Bill looked at her, and squeezed her hand. "Not that I can see," he said slowly. "Maybe it's a cut, or something."

Margaret, on the other hand, frowned at this. "Could be internal bleeding," she said. "Something the doctors need to handle." She thought for a moment. "But I can at least do an x-ray to see what's going on in there. Okay?" She looked at Laura. "I'm going to get a gurney for you, but I'll be right back." This last part was directed at Bill. "And whatever you do, don't move her."

Margaret stood up, and dashed back into the other room.

Bill watched the woman go. "You're going to be all right now, Laura," he whispered. Just as much for his benefit, as it was for hers.

Closing her eyes, Laura reached out for Bill's hand.

"So. Earth," she smirked. "Do you remember that earthquake in Caprica City? I was probably...10. That's the last earthquake I've been in."

Bill took her hand and held it tightly. "I remember," he said, with a small smile. "Dad had some big court case in the City, and he took me along. I remember being so scared, I ran behind the judge's chair and refused to come out." Luckily, the courthouse was fairly well built, though the same couldn't be said for the rest of the city. He sighed. "Never thought I'd have to go through one of these again."

It was at that moment when the woman reappeared, wheeling what looked like some kind of trolley. "Told you I wouldn't be too long," Margaret said. She looked at Bill. "Give me a hand to lift her up on there. Carefully, mind," she added.

Bill nodded, and positioned himself near Laura's head, still holding on to her hand. Margaret took a hold of Laura's legs as gently as she could.

"When I count to three," she told him, "I want you to lift her." She paused, while Bill slipped his arms around Laura's upper body. "Ready?" Bill nodded. "Okay. One, two, three..."

Laura gasped when she was lifted, which was followed by an uncharacteristic slew of cursing.

"Oh my Gods, mother frakker son of a bitch..." She panted harshly as her good hand flew to her stomach where the pain was.

Moira looked at Laura, anxiously. She couldn't stand not being able to do anything, but Moira was about ready to pass out herself. The adrenaline was starting to wear off.

The girl was trying as hard as she could just to stay concious, she didn't utter a word.

Laura's cursing only made Bill grip her shoulder even tighter.

Margaret made sure the woman was secure on the gurney. "Alright," she told them. "I'm going to take her in to get her x-rayed now. You," here she gestured at Bill, "stay outside." She paused, before looking at Laura. "Unless you want him to come in with you?"

She noticed Moira standing just a way off, swaying unsteadily. She didn't like the look of that, either. "And you're coming in as well," she said to the girl. "If your ribs really are broken..." She moved over to where Moira was. "It's only a short distance to the x-ray," she said gently. "Can you manage?"

"They are," she winced, breathing heavily. "I think I can probably-" Moira slipped as she fell forwards landing on her knee which was already hurt.

Moira was trying really hard not to cry. She could not get herself to the x-ray on her own.

"I think I probably need some help," she whispered, blinking away tears of pain, anger and frustration.

Margaret reached out a hand to help pull her up. "C'mon, Moira," she said. "You can lean on me. Like I said, only a short distance to the x-ray, then we can see what's really going on with the two of you."

She turned to Bill. "I guess I do need you, after all," she said. "Just go through that door, and wait for me. And remember - be careful, okay?"

Bill nodded, and started pushing Laura's gurney in the direction the woman had indicated, his hand still gripping hers.

Once she had been sure that the man was going the right way, Margaret turned her attention back to Moira. "Our turn now," she said. "And let's take this slowly, alright?"

Moira nodded. "I know it is really broken, though," the girl said petulantly. Normally she was very mature for her 20 and a half years. But not now. She could barely breathe now.

"Right, slowly," she said leaning on Margaret.

Supporting Moira as best as she could (without pressing down on any injured parts), the pair made their way into the other room. She could see Hawkeye already working on a patient, and...yes, there was her man with the gurney.

She gestured to him. "X-ray's over here," she called out. Bill slowly made his way towards where Margaret was.

She looked at Moira. "Since they might be a while," she said, leading her towards the x-ray machine, "how about we get you done first?"
