All in all this whole being stuck in Canada was not too bad especially considering it meant father couldn't find him. Which was a relief actually. he hadn't meant to break the Pimp Stick but apparently it wasn't very aerodynamic.

Oh well. And was that Sev? Why was he milling around in someone's yard, and since when did Sev mill about?

"Sev?"

Severus nearly sagged with relief. He didn't even bother excusing himself, instead he made a beeline for his godson.

"You have two choices. Either fake a horrid illness, or you are joining me for dinner." He looked back toward his host, and realized that faking an illness wasn't an option. Muggle idiots would try and cure Draco with needles and all manner of barbaric means.

"On second thought, you have no choice. You're joining us for dinner."

He cupped Draco around the back of his neck, and gave him a little shove toward the group. "House! Add another setting at the table!"

"What? Who's the punk?"

"My godson. He stays, or I go," Severus said, knowing he would need an ally in this mess. Wilson couldn't possibly want him there, the woman was crazed, the child hated him, and oh Merlin, was that someone else coming to the party?

"I'm staying? What?" Draco grumbled as he stumbled forward. "You're House?"

"You can refer to me as God."

[grandprat]

"No I don't think so," Draco replied dryly. He didn't like this muggle. "You slept with him?" he hissed to Sev.

"There was little sleeping involved, and don't make that face. If you don't want to speak of it, you shouldn't have brought it up," Severus said wryly.

[grandprat]

"I thought you had good taste," Draco lamented.

[reluctant_pawn]

"I was a Death Eater, Draco. Whatever would make you think I had taste?" he asked, rolling his eyes. "Stop pouting, I need you to stay. Consider it a favor for which I'll owe you, you know how loathe I am to put myself in that position."

[grandprat]

"You owe me?" Draco repeated perking up. He liked the sound of that. "And I was a Death Eater too. It doesn't mean I lack all taste." He said firmly.

"And don't even think of discussing it at dinner. I don't care if your his godson, I'll make your life miserable." If Wilson found out House slept with Snape, House wouldn't fret. House hated the idea that Wilson found out and kept discussing it. House wanted to suppress and forget that memory (because, if he was frank, he would admit it pains him. And not for the "correct" and "moral" reasons you'd suspect).

"You'll make my life miserable?" Draco snorted. "Until you learn to do Crucio I don't think I'll be too worried."

"I'm creative. Just ask Sev."

"Just remember to Obliviate him after," Severus said, smirking at House, rather enjoying the fact he didn't have a clue what they were talking about.

"Good idea." Draco pondered the idea as he gazed at House smugly. This muggle had no idea what he was dealing with. He may have a sharp tongue but Draco had years of Lucius' special lessons.
