Lulu had gotten to the Cafe at few minutes before seven. She was going to have a civil cup of coffee with Maxie Jones.
Maxie Jones, who was never anything but a complete wretch, asked Lulu to have a nice cup of coffee to Start Over. That itself was not only supremely bizarre, but caused Lulu to be super suspicious. It wasn't like Maxie. And Maxie had come from two years in the past.
Shaking her head at the situation, she got in line for coffee.
