"You're rambling, Hermione, slow down." Harry twisted in his chair and tried to ignore the similiar twisting in his gut. He couldn't remember being immunized against much of anything as a child. Especially if the Dursley's could get away with it, and the habit of not keeping up. Well, that's why they were called habits, right? "Has Teddy been in to the doctor's yet?"

"We're there right now," Hermione said. "I called you as soon as I heard. They said there's not a whole lot they can do to treat full blown measles, but they have preventative treatments that could keep people from getting them, if they're exposed." Though she was making a valiant effort to sound calm, there was no masking the worry in her voice. "I also thought I'd check my books at home, to see if there is anything in there that might be helpful."

Harry frowned and picked up his pen, tapping it restlessly against his desk. "Is Rose going to be all right with Ted around her like that?"

"The doctors think so," Hermione said. "she won't get immunized until she's one, but she should be immune to most diseases for another two months at least." Quietly, she added, "And I was immunized as a child, so I'll be all right..." she trailed off, leaving the unspoken question hanging in the air between them.
