When: Backdated Thursday, March 11th 2010

Very little felt real to Aaron Hotchner at that moment. His wife was pregnant. One of his most promising agents...he didn't know. Something was wrong with Reid and he refused to believe it was drugs. Reid had struggled too much to relapse for no reason, and the pressure of being asked to look after him and Haley couldn't have been a stressor.

It's not like, at that moment, either of them would be hard to look after. Aaron sat on the guest room floor surrounded by what looked to be an over-sized balsa wood figurine--parts to a crib, which had been bought on what he could only describe as a near euphoric impulse.

'I'm going to be a father!'   Calls had been coming in from family and friends all that day, and Haley had to be bribed from the phone and talking to her sister in order for him to call Sean. They'd kept the news to themselves for a little while just to enjoy it--to a have a celebratory dinner and loose themselves in talking of the future. A house in Virginia so he could stay close to work, with a yard and a patio. There would be a fireplace for winter and roasting marshmallows in-doors, and a living room tall enough to have a huge, live Christmas-tree brought in every year.

It was about then that Haley had suggested, if they were in the house buying phase already, to look at places around Aternaville. True there was no rhyme or reason to the types of houses around town, which ranged from mansions to dumps, but more always seemed to be being built. Houses were Haley's mission today. The crib, was his.
