There were so. Many. BOOKS.
Bod stood in the middle of the library foyer, surrounded by rows and rows of bookshelves on all sides, and felt like he'd won the lottery. He'd never seen so many books in all his life-- and he was allowed to choose what books he'd like to read, for once, instead of relying on Silas to choose for him. Not that he'd ever had any complaints-- but he'd never been allowed to choose a book for himself. He didn't even know what his options were! This was going to be amazing!
Taking a deep breath, he plunged into the forest of books, and lost himself.
Close to an hour later, he emerged, a large, wobbling stack of books with two legs. He teetered across the lobby towards a lounge area where he'd seen some chairs and tables, and cheerfully depositing his tiny book mountain on the table, he picked up the top book on the stack and began to read. And read. And read.
