What: Valentine's Day Party
Where: Five Seasons Hotel, First Floor Ballroom
When: Saturday, February 13, 8:00pm onward

The music was already playing, the food - including the chocolate fountain and its various accoutrements - was laid out. Kegs were ready to be tapped with red Solo cups stacked high on either side of them on small tables. Off to the side of the room, there was a coffee table with a game of Jenga set up and waiting to be played. The decorations were lacking, but only slightly, because the main attraction was to be the people and the mingling that took place between them.
Everything was ready...and Kimberly was nervous. If she threw a bogus party, she'd be forever doomed to only being an invitee to others in the future - if she was lucky - but she'd never throw another, so she was striving to make Shaina proud and be the good hostess she was sure she could be. All that she needed were party-goers. So when 8:00pm slid into 8:01, she tried to remind herself that it was early, people had other plans, and that eventually, at least, the ones who had responded to the entries on the forum about the party would still come. If nothing else, she knew she could count on Lulu, Olive, Connor, and Spence. She had little worry that they would fail to show and let her down and if the party was simply consisting of them, they would still have fun. Still, she was hoping for a big turn out. A really big one.
