Date with Connor still fresh and pleasant on her mind, Kimberly woke without trouble when her alarm went off on Sunday morning. At first, she couldn't remember why it was going off and had a minor panic attack when she thought it was Monday and she was going to be late for her first day at work. But then, as she fully awakened, Kimberly remembered why she'd set it. She was going to be meeting Olive in the lobby and they were heading out to find an apartment. Kimberly hadn't ever had an apartment of her own, because she didn't figure the dorm rooms at school counted and she was excited to get out there and be on her own...except for the part where she was fairly certain she wouldn't be able to afford a place all by herself just yet. Which was where Olive stepped in.

Kimberly had only met Olive once in person, but she seemed nice on the forum and she'd been adorable in person. Something told Kimberly that they were going to get along just fine and she was excited to move in with the other woman. Olive had suggested that they look at three bedroom apartments just in case and Kimberly decided it wouldn't be so bad having a spare room even if they did decide that George wasn't compatible with them as a roommate. If she could still live comfortably, Kimberly would be okay with having three bedrooms and only one roomie.

Bundling up nice and warm, her scarf wrapped around her neck and tucked into the trench coat, Kimberly made her way down the stairs and into the lobby of the hotel, dropping down onto one of the empty chairs, waiting for Olive to meet her. Today was Kimberly's first step into real and true adulthood, even if she wasn't going to admit that to Olive. Needless to say, as she tapped her foot against the floor creating a rapid clicking sound, Kimberly was pleasantly anxious and ready to go.
