A perfectly natural reaction when confronted with six feet of shiny cream-colored suit, gleaming white smile, and white membranous wings standing not four feet in front of you, where there had been no one just a moment before.

Before she could react, he whirled away, the taps on his shoes beating a merry rhythm on the cold concrete as he started to sing.

You like a piece of pie
Well, know what? So do I!
Say, what could beat
A fresh-baked treat
Have I got a shoe for you!

A warm and snuggly heat

He grabbed her hand, spinning her in.

Is best for frozen feet

When he spun her back out and released her, her shoes had changed. On the ends of her feet were enormous slippers in the shape of slices of cherry pie, complete with plush cherry filling seeming to spill out the sides. His grey-blue eyes sparkled with laughter as he took both her hands and whirled her around once more, the clumsy shoes somehow not impeding her in the slightest.

So why not try
That slice of pie
You'll look good enough to eat!

His dance took him up onto Pigby's back (the pig seemed perfectly unbothered by it). Now he snapped his fingers, kicked his leg out, and disappeared in a burst of gold and white lights. The music faded when he did, leaving behind only the giant pie slippers on Olive's feet.

(Pigby's boots he'd left alone, although upon closer inspection they would turn out to be a little more securely fitted on the pig's hooves.)

Olive stood there, too shocked to move, wondering what the hell she was seeing. Or dreaming. A tooth fairy? A dancing half man-half bird? And then the tap dancing began and Olive was even more dumbfounded. She glanced around as the singing also started, and wondered if other people were seeing this as well, but there was no one to be found on the street.

Her attention returned to him when he danced closer and then reached out and took her hand, spinning her into him and then spinning her out. She felt something change on her feet and when she looked down, she had giant pieces of cherry pie where here cute boots had been. Her mouth dropped open and she looked up as he spun her once more before releasing her. But she couldn't seem to form words.

He danced up on Pigby's back, and the darn thing just kept sniffing at the ground the whole time, snapped his fingers and disappeared. Olive searched up and down the street, but the mysterious flying person was gone. Not a trace of him to be found. The slippers were still on her feet. She looked down and wiggled her toes, effectively making the cherry filling also jiggle.

This town was turning out to be a little more strange than she had first anticipated. "C-c'mon, Pigby. Let's go back." She didn't know what else to do. How was she supposed to explain the giant pie slippers on her feet if she did actually run into someone in the seemingly deserted town. She urged the pig to turn around and they headed back to the hotel.

Once inside, Olive sat down on her bed and lifted her feet to look at the slippers again. She really really liked them, but she was still a little shell shocked. "Jimminy Christmas."
