Today he was having a guest!

When: Thursday, December 3, around midday
Where: Nokoru's ridiculous house
Who: Aaron Hotchner & Imonoyama Nokoru
What: Two detectives
Rating: T for 探偵団

Nokoru was excited as ever at the prospect of having a guest! And a real, professional detective at that-all right, an FBI Special Agent, but a detective was a detective after all. Nokoru wanted to hear all about life as a professional detective in the service of the United States of America.

He was a bit disappointed that the agent's son was so young. His "Exploring in the Snowy Mountains" room wasn't nearly as much fun without company, to say nothing of his "Tropical Island Shipwreck" room. The fact was, adventures in general were much less fun when undertaken on one's own. Maybe Lulu would like to take a short safari one day? The mechanical animals he'd created were quite lifelike. (Although some of them did have silly looks on their faces if you got close enough to see.)

Maybe his next project would be putting together a room or two that a four year old might enjoy.

But the child wasn't coming today. It was school hours, which meant Nokoru should probably have been in school too. Of course, the elementary school hadn't known what to do with him. They'd passed him up to the junior high, who'd passed him up to the high school, who'd passed him up to the university. So now he was guest-lecturing at the university in political science, history, mathematics, engineering, and computer science. And taking a home economics class. At least if his attempts to cook were done under supervision, he was less likely to set the kitchen on fire.

Not today, though. Today he was having a guest!

His housekeeper had prepared food, all carefully covered since he didn't really know when the FBI agent was going to be here. Nokoru had settled himself in the library, since it wasn't too far from the front door, and was idly sketching out plans for a new series of rooms to be added to his house. He didn't have a "Rescuing the Princess from the Heart of the Treacherous Labyrinth" room yet...
