Dear Lulu,

We have a Bureau/Ministry/Whatever of Emergency Planning?

This isn't good, considering I'm the only doctor in town and I'm finding out by cookies. Which are pretty damn good by the way.

We do! It was instituted after the earthquake chaos when no one was around to help make sure everyone was okay since everyone clearly wasn't.

OK, looks like I am going to have to spell this out.

As the only doctor in town, does it not make sense that I have at least been consulted or have SOME input on emergency plans? Or even be on the board! Since, as the ONLY DOCTOR IN TOWN, I will probably be heavily involved?

Think on that.

Right. Well. How exactly would I know that you were a doctor and willing to help when I was given no information other than what I can gather from people who actually decide to answer my surveys? If you would like to be on the board, I can arrange that seeing as how we are missing a physician on the board.
