Who: Barney and Red. At it again?
Where: Red's apartment
What: Barney says that he wants his scrapbooks back. Really, he wants to help.
When: Backdated to last nite. After Barney went out with Robin. So..late last nite!
Earlier in the day, Barney had gone over to the drugstore to refill Red's prescription. He had taken a copy of it, mostly because he knew that she probably wouldn't be able to get it herself. And he was going to just drop it off anonymously then banter with her while she was doped up. Sounded fun, right?
Then he went out to drinks with Robin, which was good, but reminded him of how messy things had gotten back in New York with her. And now it was getting messy in Canada, as well. Robin. And Red.
Red. She was-- Well, she was like him. Which Barney imagined that he shouldn't have liked as much as he did. All through the ride, he was Tedding out about the situation, which Chip noticed. He gave the suited New Yorker a word of wisdom or two, and then dropped him off at the complex.
Taxi driver paid and tipped, Barney made his way up to the particular apartment with a white bag tucked in his coat pocket. He didn't knock. Why should he, after lifting the key to her apartment and making a copy? So in he went, and he was looking around. Mostly for his scrapbooks.
And partially for Red.
