When: After Arthur's accident and going to see him in the hospital and after Uther meets Endora (backdated).

Morgana was within calling distance, keeping her eyes and ears wide open but not being seen. It was something left over from when she was a child, listening in on conversations she shouldn't be and hiding until found.

It was a useful habit.

He watched her steadily, trying to appraise her thoughts. But she was inscrutable, as ever. She seemed more well, though, and Uther found this a heartening sign.

"We must speak about this, Morgana," he said at last, when she was before him.

"About what is there to speak, Uther? The physicians say that he shall make a full recovery. There is nothing more to say," she replied, half worried about what he would make of this and half anxious just to get it over with. She walked a step closer to him, raising her eyebrows as if daring him to challenge her.

He was close enough now to touch her, but Uther could not, not now. He stood by the fire with his hand on his hilt, a little lost, trying to conceal it.

"You were right," he said at last, not sure himself what he made of that.
