She couldn't imagine a more heady feeling than this.

It had to have been the dancing. Or the colorful drink York brought her. But River felt rather like she was floating and wanted nothing more than to take off her sensible dancing shoes and go barefoot. However, in this brand of weather, it didn't seem like the most brilliant of her ideas. She'd use this as an excuse to walk slowly, extending their walk as much as possible.

She leaned into York, that odd little smile confusing her mouth in the best of angles, visible only when they passed another intersection.

Possessive fingers clung to the hem of his jacket in the cold.
