Snape was approaching 'Lily's' house with increasing dread. He had his wand clenched tightly in one hand. and Teddy's hand in the other. Teddy in turn was holding onto Harry's hand. He could only imagine what they all looked like. Snape felt like a ruddy mother duck. Though for all he knew he was walking to his own execution, he didn't know what else to do. He took some small satisfaction in the fact that half of the people they passed on the street looked just as confused as him, and more than a few were dressed in clothes that absolutely drowned them.
Albus couldn't possibly be messing with the lives of this many people, could he.
When they reached the front door, Snape kept Harry and Teddy behind him, then knocked, standing back with wand in hand.
