What: Josh runs into River, literally.
When: Late Afternoon, early evening
Where: Out and about the town. Right in front of the coffee shop to start.
Yeah, great. He needed coffee.
Why was Sam calling him, he'd thought he'd made it clear that he just couldn't handle the turmol of being Chief of Staff? He'd served a few years, he was done.
But Sam still called him. Josh was sure that Santos would take him back and demote Sam in a heartbeat. Sam would probably like it actually.
All this thought of course, hid the real reason he was out and about. He just, something felt off, and he was trying not to think of the reason. Donna.
Damn it, don't think about Donna Josh. That way lies all sorts of mental booby traps and pitfalls and holes full of punji sticks or whatever the hell they were called in Vietnam, Pooji sticks?
