Laura was currently dressing the baby in warm clothes and a little hat, and when she heard the knock, she smiled, lifting her up. "Who could that be, Tamara? Is that Aunt Moira?"

She stood and made her way to the door with the baby cradled in her arms. Opening, she gestured for her to come inside. "It's so good to see you," she said with a wide smile.

"You, too," Moira replied, walking inside once Laura gestured. "Both of you."

Laura was absolutely beaming, and she held out Tamara. "Would you mind holding her while I get my coat and pack her diaper bag?"

"Not at all," Moira said, taking the little girl in her arms. She never really thought she would be attached to a baby at all. "Hello, Tamara." She smiled down at the bundled up baby.

How had Lee been dragged into this? Moira, apparently, had gone off shopping with a friend, and Zak had been bored. He'd come home to the hotel to find Lee and Lily sitting and talking, and had immediately dragged the two off to go shopping with him. Lily hadn't put up a fight, and Lee could never say no to his brother, and the three of them had ended up on main street. Of course, as they passed by the baby store, it didn't take ten seconds for Zak to peek inside and see Moira.. and thus.. inside they went. Lee's gloved hand was holding on to Lily's as they headed inside, and he smiled aside to her. "My brother is in denial about how much weight he's put on." A joke about why Zak wanted to be in the baby shop, of course. He knew Moira was inside, but couldn't pass up a chance to jab at Zak.

Lily laughed. "I'm sure it has nothing to do with the girl he saw in the store." She was not quite sure about how she felt being in a baby store, given her particular feelings toward wanting another baby, but Lee was there. Right next to her. She'd be fine.

Zak couldn't help himself. Sometimes he got bored. And it was always very interesting to see his brother with Lily, who Zak liked. She was good for the older Adama.

"Actually, I thought I'd get some bibs for you Lee." He rolled with the brotherly punch and gave one of his own. "Gods know you're messy enough and need it." He grinned, looking back at them. Then weaved through the aisles easily and came up behind Moira, tugging on her hand.

And Laura too? Zak hadn't honestly caught up with all the news yet. So mark him a little confused. Nevermind that though, Laura was given a smile in hello after Moira was given a kiss on the cheek in greetings. "Ladies."

Laura turned and smiled at Zak, secretly delighting on Moira's behalf at the show of affection. "Hello Zak," she smiled, and then her eyes found Lee's, and she smiled again, glad to see him. "Lee, it's been too long since I've seen you, I think." She wanted to hug him, but had no idea how that would go over. Instead, she focused her attention on Lily. "I don't think we've formally met. I'm Laura."

Laura put a few packages of onesies and plain white long sleeved onesies in the basket. "I don't plan on stopping Teddy's lessons or putting the Education Board on the back burner. And if that means slinging her to me, then so be it," she said with a little chuckle.

She already knew that it would be extremely difficult to not pick up Tamara every time she cried or fussed. As it were, she wanted to hold the baby all of the time. "What sort of toys should we get for her? Bill and I read about her grasping reflex and things like that, but obviously we can't put her in a bouncer yet."

"Not yet." Agreed again, from the elder brother. "Right now, I'd focus on simple things. Remember that a rattle is only fun until you get tired of hearing the noise constantly. The baby's never going to get tired of it, but you are. A mobile for her, if you don't have one yet. And only toys that are big enough that she won't swallow them. All of the fun toys come later.. infants won't play much with them."

"Something like this is a good choice for when they're little," Lily said, holding Tamara on one hip and picking up the toy and handing it to Laura. "Maybe a stuffed animal or two. A baby-safe one."

Laura smiled at the toy and put it into the shopping cart. "Simple things; right. And, I'd say no rattles but she already has one," she smirked. "It came home with us from the clinic." She started looking at swings and lightly touched a pink one (of course). "What about something like this?"
