Tosh was amazingly happy. Things with Owen had been going better than she'd ever imagined- they'd somehow managed to settle into this life together, and were actually enjoying each other.
Still, though, there were certain aspects of Owen that she knew would never change, which is why she knew she'd be facing a battle when she went downstairs, finding Owen lounging on the sofa, watching telly.
She sat down beside him, snuggling close and smiling.
"Let's go get a Christmas tree," she said without preamble, figuring just jumping into it would be the best tact with Owen. "We only have another week or so."
