Dragon*Con

Sadly there will be no Dragon*Con for me this year :( I received a rather large, unexpected bill and so am lacking the funds for the hotel. Actually, I'm rather lacking the funds for anything to be more precise. I have no idea how I'm going to make it the week and a half until the next pay day. And of course I already took the time off of work

Did you already buy the ticket? If so, I'm sure we could cover your hotel bill. We'd love for you to make it if you can. But if you cannot, we understand.

Yeah, I bought my badge during the last Con so I do have that. I don't want to be a freeloader, but I'm thinking about perhaps going Saturday atleast...would it be alright if I crashed with you guys that night?

How long are you staying Saturday?

We are going down around Noon and Annelise will be leaving earlier than I am. She will likely be picking me up at the North Springs Marta station sometime Sunday morning.

As a person who has had NUMEROUS ear infections...one was so bad I had vertigo and had to take meds for that (meclasine)...I'll give you one piece of important advice: NEVER put qtips down into your ear. One ENT specialist told me never to put anything smaller than a washcloth into my ear. If you have obstructions due to ear wax (cerumen) you should use an ear wax removal kit (drops and a bulb syringe to wash out the obstruction). In the meantime, take 800mg of ibuprofen and call me in the morning...

I've heard that, but I don't really use them to clear away ear wax so much as just to soak up the water after a shower, and I never stick them all the way down.
