Been a while
Ok. Bad me. It's been some time since my last update. No reason really, just lack of enthusiasm to post.
A couple of weeks ago I attended the Scorpions and Tesla concert at the Rose Quarter. I really didn't care for Tesla, never did, but seeing the Scorpions really brought back some memories. It felt like 1985 again, lol. It was really a great time. I have tickets to see Megadeth here in a couple of weeks at the Roseland, which should be pretty fun.
Been practicing on my new Jackson guitar again. Had to stop when I was sick, which has been for like a month now. I have the strength to finally practice again. It is slowly coming back to me. The idea is to have the band back together by next summer and ready to book some local dates. It will be, of course, all 80's metal covers from bands like Dokken, Ratt, Ozzy, Scorpions, Lynch Mob, George Lynch, Keel, Quiet Riot, Saxxon, etc. Can't help it; that's the music I learned to play all those years ago, and still listen to it. Should be fun. It won't be for money obviously. Just some good ol fun for people in our age group that liked 80's hair bands.
Well, gonna bail for now. Maybe more later.
