day four in quebec and five till i fly back.

sunday we went to laronde only to find out that 13 of the rides were closed.  we decided to go anyway since it's only open on weekends and next weekend we'll be with seth's family.  we went in and went on two rides, which were awesome, and the i realized that my phone was gone.  i thinkit might have flown off on one of the rides....so now i have no phone.  i was pissed off about it at first, but no i'm kinda over it.  seth has his phone still, so i'm totally s.o.l.  laronde closed shortly after this cause it started raining.  we ended up going to mount royal station and hung out at a pub.  later we met up with seth's friend emmanuel and her girlfriend.  they took us to their house where they made us a really nice dinner and supplied us with great beer.

yesterday seth and i picked up our rental car and drove to quebec sity.  took us about 3 hours to get there including the pit stop we made for food at st.hubert (well known restaurant chain in quebec that specializes in chicken).  we went to the mueum of fine art which had some interesting exhibits on egyptian stuff and lots of sculptures.  we walked around old quebec for a while, took some pics, ate some good food, went to a smoke shop and bought a few cigarillos, then got back in the car.  on the way back we went to this strip bar that seth's friend recommended we go to...it was interesting.  she called it high class..i'm not sure i'd agree but whatever.  a lot of the guys there were nasty.  the girls either looked really old or really high for the most part.  there was one girl who was pretty cute.  seth said we should get a private room with her since in quebec, contact dance (being able to touch the girls while tey give you a lap dance) is permitted.  i felt a little uneasy in this place..the guys beside us were kinda sketchy and i felt like they wanted to start something with us...plus, she actually was pretty cute..and the idea of contact dance makes me a bit shy.  i told seth that once we're back in vancouver, we can go to brandi's and get a private room with someone...where touching is definitely not allowed.  lol.  navigating the highways and following street signs was very challenging.  the signage was not very apparent and you had to pay a lot of close attention or you could easily make a wrong turn.  we asked a lot of people for directions.  flashing green light means you can turn left..didn't know that either....buttt we survived, and it was fun.  we found a good radio station on the way back that had this dj spinning awesome house music.

today's been relaxing.  just dropped off the car today, went to see pineapple express and got some ben and jerry's.
