Hello, the poor neglected journal.
Thanks to my wonderful roommates, I am now hooked to the Korean variety show, Running Man! I have a solid favourite over Kim Jong Kook, otherwise known as SpartaKook, The Commander and Muscle MC. The show features at least seven people participating in various challenges at different landmarks in every episodes. In order for them to go home without punishment (which include having their face drawn or wear hot pants or do ridiculous things), they must win the challenges! Or, at least, get a Running Ball and hope that they are able to leave safely!
Here's the monthly reviews of the series I am following.
Kuroshitsuji
ZombieArc is finished and done for, and before moving to the next story arc, it's time for the light-hearted chapter featuring Easter.
I know it's more important to discover the truth of what happened to Ciel when he was kidnapped and turned into a slave, but there's no reason to hate the author for presenting a cute, light-hearted chapter for this month. The next arc might as well be as sinister than the ZombieArc, who knows. After all, it's another letter from the Queen. Besides, the flashback occurs inside Sebastian's mind since it's his memories and correct me if I'm wrong, but does unrelated people are able to see those flashback of memories? Since if Ciel and the rest can't see what we readers are able to see because we are the readers, well, it's the same as saying, "It doesn't happen inside the story so there's no need to confront the matter!" I like the chapter the way it is. Ciel did act a bit unnatural and it certainly aroused the interest of Elizabeth. Regarding her, anyway, Elizabeth did mention that despite her strength, she would always be someone cute to Ciel. The fact that she revealed her true persona during ZombieArc was only to protect Ciel from getting harmed. She would always be a delicate, beautiful young lady that still dreamed of loving and being loved by someone important. Anyway, I like the fact we got to see Edward Midford!
Pandora Hearts
The scanlation's not out at the moment so I'm unable to share my views. As usual, shocking chapter is shocking but it's even more shocking because now we know the truth of Oz's origin... and it isn't nice.
Vampire Knight
I am rather pleased with this chapter with a slight heartache.
Zero's making a deal with Sara is worrisome but I am more worried about Takuma. This chapter itself is called 'Confessions of Love' and while I can't argue that Sara is attractive, seductive and beautiful, but for Takuma to say all those things without hesitation. Dear, me. Despite the fact that vampires are without doubt attracted to the Pureblood vampires, I can't believe that he will say the same thing for Kaname. Truthfully, I believe in their friendship. I believe that the friendship is real despite their separation. Is he saying that his attraction to Sara is the same as his attraction to Kaname? Ugh. Returning to what Kaname said about Yuuki being a hindrance when Ruka asked regarding his plan to kill all the Purebloods. Here's my take: he is not going to kill Yuuki just because she is a Pureblood. He's referring to the other Pureblood vampires. What sort of person kills the reason behind all this mess? Yuuki will be a hindrance because it's clear that she will not accept this method of killing and she will do anything to prevent if from happening. Flashback of Ruka's memories is connected to the present time where Yuuki is going to confront Kaname. Perhaps there will be a battle between the male Kuran and the female Kuran even though I can't even imagine how that's going to happen without the two Purebloods exchanging long, endless speech just to delay the matters. The only thing I'm worried about Kaname is his left hand. The last time, he lost his right hand and right now, his left hand is nothing but bones. The first thing I will ask from Hino-sensei is a variety of clothes for the cast. Second, please make the cast tie their long hair if applicable. Third, give more screentime to potential characters. Fourth, please, give Kaname a pair of gloves. Don't tell me that to use the Hunter's weapon, one must use one's bare hand and not covered with anything else?!
Two months left until the end of matriculation programme. I'm feeling the pressure!
