Gratitude for My 27th
Though it didn't turn out the way I had originally planned it, I had a great 27th!
Even if classes were suspended and I did not get to see everyone, I am thankful that I did not spend most of the day alone.
Even if I didn't go to school, I am thankful that I got to stay at KaffeCaffe.
Even if I couldn't decide where to have dinner, I am thankful to have someone with suggestions.
Even if there was only one kind of cheese and no sourdough bread, I am thankful for dinner with the family at Galileo.
And most of all, even if I did not see all my students, friends, and relatives, I am thankful that they all greeted me on the 27th. If I missed anyone, I apologize.
