Happy Birthday, hon! ♥ ♥ ♥

I know it's a day early but, well, it's nearly your birthday in my part of the world and if I don't post this now I'm not sure I'll get there in time.

Anywho, I wrote you a little present. Just a little one, but here it is.

Hannibal reaches out and strokes rough fingers against a patch of exposed skin along Face’s side. Face visibly shudders with pleasure at the connection.

“If you give someone a gift,” Hannibal says, his gaze taking in his beautiful - if ridiculous - boy, “it’s got to be for keeps. Right?”

Face nods slowly. “Yeah. Oh yeah, Boss. I’ve been waiting a long time to... I just didn’t know how to...”

Hannibal can’t help it, he laughs again. “So you thought you’d gift-wrap yourself?”

“Well, why not?”

As good logic as any, Hannibal decides, and runs his hands up along Face’s paper-clad thighs.

“So this is my present, huh?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Presents always wait till after breakfast. Sometimes even until after the party.”

Face looks panicky. “It’s hot in the wrapping paper!” he yelps.

Hannibal chuckles again. His hands wander back up Face’s legs, over his belly, and he slips a finger beneath the paper just above Face’s nipple.

“But it’s my birthday. And that means I can open my presents whenever I want. And this is not a present I think I ( ... )

HEE. I may have totally missed the point here, but the image of Hannibal in a dressing gown was so utterly charming I had to go back and re-read because the first time around I was stuck on Hannibal in a dressing gown. <3

And Face is too ridiculous cute for his own good. (Although, if it gets me a man like Hannibal I might have to revise my opinion on wrapping yourself up as a present.)

This is beautiful. I agree with Wave-of-sorrow, Hannibal in a dressing gown was awesome.
Oh, and Face is so cute. Lol. Awesome, awesome.

Thank you so much Cats, this is very much appreciates! Hannibal jumping out the bed, Face pouting because he thinks Hannibal's laughing at him and

"It's hot in the wrapping paper!"
