(no subject)

[There's a voice over the phone, although she doesn't seem to be speaking into it - it's distant, as though it's picking her up from off the hook. Since she is alone in the room, she's talking to herself. A habit of a lonely young woman.]

Oh my. This is rather confusing. Of all places, how in the world have I arrived in this plain looking room? And in peasant attire, no less. This is no place at all for a lady of my stature. Father would never have permitted it.

[Keeping her head, she begins to investigate. Mail is being examined as she gets slightly nearer to the phone.]

Conchita Brother? Beaver Street? Honestly, how absurd. I don't have a brother. And beavers make dams, not streets. They also don't taste so good. Hmph.

[They are discarded.]

N-Never mind this. I really just need to find something to eat.... a new chef, please... won't anyone cook for me? Even a snack would suffice, as long as it's made with the highest quality ingredients... isn't anyone competent at it in this world? Ah, you just can't find good help these days.

[Her eyes fall on the phone. She blinks.]

Now there's an unusual ingredient! Hmhm...

Very well, I shall sample it raw. For now it will have to do. Afterwards, I shall find out who I must punish for this insolence.

[a few moments later, some very strange sounds are coming out of the phone as she is now trying to dismantle it with a knife and fork and eat it.]
