Because while I reserve the right to have a better idea, I also have the sense not to spam my regular journal with them.

Most of the time.

Recaptioned to be more specific. And funnier because it's true.

And to go with that, a new and improved:

Which is a much better reference than the original, considering the source material.

Out of all the ones I've made so far, this is my favourite.

It comes with a limerick:

This costume will make your mind boggle.
He thought that his sister would ogle.
But the horrid design
which screams “colourblind!” -
It made her instead don pink goggles.

In fact, there's a lot of mockery to be made from the Fenris twins' costumes over the years:

Their outfits are quite unaesthetic.
Bad fashion sense must be genetic.
In taste these are poor,
Without much allure.
They look pretty unphotogenic.

Civilian garb is slightly (though not always) better.

Andreas needs a much less fussy shirt-front and should have a green tie and waistcoat to match his sister, and also shave off that horrible-looking bizarro-mustache of a beard, but otherwise it's a vast improvement over the previous look.

As for the caption, I'd already rendered one as We'll always have Paris., but a Casablanca quote doesn't apply that well to the offspring of fictional Nazis, except in a vaguely ironic manner.

Therefore an even more obscure allusion to French law, which does indeed hold consensual incest between closely-related adults to be perfectly legal (though probably with some proviso about not allowing unscreened reproduction, if they've any sense).

And the word decadence does indeed come into English via French from medieval Latin roots, according to Mac OS X's Dictionary.app.

Because I'd rather make a bad Dali quip than steal a good Bendis one.
