  1. Art requires people.
  2. Art is things that are understood to be Art.
  3. Art is a conscious or unconscious assignment of value.
  4. Art is situated and is dependent upon creator and consumer.
  5. Art is momentary, because situations and people are transient.

Both these posts are really fascinating. I'm not saying anything cause have no definite or even near-definite conclusions about your mean thesis points.

As to the side point, tho, about language -- oui. Other animals and sometimes humans communicate perfectly well by gesture and body language and an assortment of sounds asides from language, and w/in the realm of human language, I remember from my linguistics class way back when the prof pointing out right off the bat that a lot of what we think of as important rules of grammar vary widely from language to language, and there is no set order of words in relation to each other that need be to effectively communicate meaning. Is very true. As long as the phrase in question conveys the right meaning to the intended recipient, it's fine (well, and as long as you aren't saying something that also means "invade Oort now!" which is picked up on the listening system of the Oortians who are monitoring us to make sure we don't get out of line and decie to blow u all up w/out us ever knowing why or even that they existed, then there would be an issue about the communication, tho not one we could ever realize or hope to do anything about).
