Oregon Trail!

I was looking like crazy for a place to download it, but unfortunately, I failed. At least I found an emulator.

While San Diego was basically burning, I spent most of my week off playing the silly little game with bad graphics (none of the 3-D crap for me!). I spent most of my time failing at the game, but a few minutes ago, I manage to beat the stupid game! >:D (Well, I've done so before, but I'm usually broke, lost a party member, and the whole group is barely alive).

This victory was quite sweet because I not only beat the game, but I beat the game as a carpenter, AND my whole party is in excellent health, AND we're well-stocked, AND I managed to make the top three! I typed in "Mary Williams", I was an "Adventurer" and I had 5262 points. A very far cry from elementary school indeed! XD

Ah, Oregon Trail, how many hours did I spend tortured in some dinky computer lab wondering why my whole party drowned at Independence? Those were the days I would name the party after my teacher and my classmates (fourth grade, my teacher was Mr. Lopez), either that or name them after the characters on "Friends". I don't really remember anyone doing really well at Oregon Trail, except for this Russian boy (well, he might've just been a white boy, but I had/have this weird belief that a Commie was always twarting me from my evil plans of becoming the Asian head of the class).

Anyway, back to my HW I guess.

game, memorable
