(no subject)
I saw Dave Matthews band, which I won tickets for through work (sort of). I don't really like them, but they put on a fantastic live show :)
Anyway, I have a problem. Last night it rained a shitload, and the ceiling leaked, in one spot near the wall, right above my nightstand...which held two things: my cell phone, and my laptop (my iPod was in a different spot, luckily). So I woke up and found my phone completely dead, and my computer pretty wet. I left it open on my bed to dry, didn't try turning it on yet. So what should I do about the comp??? What chance is there it'll be badly damaged? I don't think it should be too bad, and even if it is I'll just pull the harddrive and get a new laptop. I was planning on getting a new one in January anyway. If anyone has experience with this type of thing, please let me know. I sent my landlord/roomie an email about what happened, poor girl is stressed enough with law school finals.. :(
