my poor car...
My front end inflicted yet more damage today :(. There's a tiny bit more of a forward slant in my bumper, and a small bend in my fender. Oh yeah, and the housing for the parking light was destroyed. Whatev. Some stupid pedestrian jumped in front of the Mustang I was trailing just as we were turning left onto a one way, he slammed on his brakes, I slammed on my brakes, and BUMP. As if she couldn't wait 2 seconds for us to pass by (there were absolutely no other cars on the road, and we'd already entered the intersection). that's that. I put a scratch on the back of the stang including a dent in the licence plate. I was myself, approached him all friendly and courteous, and got the same level of dignity back which was nice. A pleasant exchange. He was a nice guy. It was a rental car, he wasn't even sure if they'd say anything since it's a tiny scratch so I may have just lucked out on this one too. At least I have insurance this time :). Fuckin long ass day. I'm ready for bed.
