Comment on this post and say YO BABY! I WANT TO DO THAT INTEREST MEME or something like that. I will choose seven interests from your profile and you will explain what they mean and why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along.
ceiling fans - I forgot I had this as an interest. I like following the panel...blades?... with my eyes and it gets me all dizzy and frustrated. I like taking pictures of them because even though they are moving, you get a pretty still shot. I also like that they provide a wonderful little breeze when it's sticky and hot out.
glimmer twins - This is the duo Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of the amazing Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones is my favorite band. The one band I would bring with me to the island, the one band I would listen to for the rest of my life. Even if I was currently obsessed with another band. I have not researched the Stones or these two much at all, so I don't know too mant details of their lives. I just know they make the best writing team, Mick is the best frontman of a band ever (he struts!) and Keith is the craziest guitarist (and pirate) and I can't believe neither of them are dead yet.
peanutbutter - Don't know why this is in my interests. I used to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich every day for lunch throughout elementary and middle school. Now I can't even look at or smell them because they make me gag. Peanut butter Ritz on the other hand are quite tasty. And Reeses. And Reeses cereal. But not peanut butter ice cream. That's way too much. Over the years, my stomach has been able to handle less and less of everything. Which is bad.
sophie kinsella - She is pretty much one of the coolest chick-lit writers today. Her books like Shopaholic, all the sequals, Can You Keep a Secret, Undomestic Goddess, and the latest book, Remember Me? Her protagonists can't help but pick up a little present for themselves from the store, can't help but pretend to know Finnish. They mess things up, but always learn from the experience...eventually. And they always snag the hot guy. Always. And I know after writing that, it sounds lame, but these books are so worth buying and reading and loving.
sloppy firsts - This is one of my most favorite books. Yum. Jessica Darling's best friend moves away and this book is about her trying to deal with high school life and all the trivialities that come with it. See, Jessica is a sarcastic, observant, loveable girl and you can't help but be drawn to her journal. Also, there's Marcus. I love Marcus. Read this book and you will love Marcus and want your own as well. There's three more sequals: Second Helpings, Charmed Thirds, and Fourth Comings. I think there's a fifth book that's coming out eventually, I'm not entirely sure. The second book deals with high school, in the third she goes to college, and in the fourth she's out in the real world. And Marcus does loads of weird things and isn't always there. But he sends post cards. Read this book! By Megan McCafferty!
a knights tale - Chaucer the Trudger is my favorite. Paul Bettany is so charismatic and wonderful and I WANT HIS JACKET! The nice tan one with the black fur he's wearing later in the movie after they start to win all the money. The more I watch this movie, the more little details I notice. Like when Heath is late to fight and Paul gives him a speech. The peasants don't quite know what to think about it so the big guy goes "heyyyy" and then everyone starts to cheer. I like the soundtrack, I'm a sucker for classic rock soundtracks and this one has Queen and David Bowie so we all know it's aweosme. There was one other little moment I wanted to talk about...I forget because it is early in the morning. I never post when I'm fully awake, that's when I have to write actual papers. :D
windows media player - Because it's better than iTunes. And it's trusty and a lot faster. And I have several great playlists made on there. One downside is that the sound won't play when I want to play movies. Which I think is weird. I don't know...I use QuickPlay to watch movies so it's not a big deal.
Annnnnnd! Criminal Minds is Backkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know what I've been doing with myself during the strike. I haven't been watching reruns because...weird. What have I been watching Wed. nights? American Idol for a few weeks...probably E! because I love Girls Next Door and the Kardashians. I don't even know if they're on on Weds. I have been watching loads of movies. And Nick. iCarly is pretty amazing.
Anyway. Back to CM. Which is the greatest show everevereverever.
Garcia has a man!!! One that's going to treat her right and love her like she deserves. I'm happy for her and that she was having shower sex with the man that will always be Xander to me had me squeeing so loud and so high pitched into my blanket for about ten minuntes. And then Rossi walks in on them and barely notices that Xander is naked! hahahahahhahahaaaaaa
Rossi finally solves his case. This was a bit of a let down. Some Lenny-like carnie? And the oldest gril from the Nanny was the victim. Someone pointed that out and thank goodness because it was bugging me and I couldn't place her and I forgot that IMDB existed for some reason...
Hotch and Reid's thing felt so out of place and weird. Somewhat forced. But their's was the part that had me IMing Bryant saying omgomgomgomgomg
omg
omg
omg
Bryant was annoyed. But that's better than countless youtube video links, so whatever..
Back to CM. Yes, I feared for thier lives even though I knew they were going to be back for a few more episodes. Hotch's Glare-O-Death was so scary. He's an excellent glare-er. Reid saved the day! And he totally pulled all that stuff out of his ass. Amazing. I want my very own Reid so he can tell me useless knowledge about peas and StarTrek and things.
JJ and Prentiss are the coolest chicks on TV. Don't have any specific reasons, you just have to watch.
There was a little Hotch/Prentiss moment at the end there. At first, I thought they were going to have to whole team walk through the shot as the camera moves back through the bullpen. But it stopped with Prentiss. And he signed the papers. I can't believe it.
In the future, I want to see a Prentiss Episode and a Reid episode. Maybe one for JJ. We don't get enough of the characters. I suppose it's hard to give all of them each their own episodes all the time though.
All in all, another great episode. Loved it. Can't wait for the next one. A man helps his victims commit suicide.
I don't want to go to class today. Blah.
criminal minds,
