Sixties Night
There is so much amazing music to draw from here. I would go crazy trying to chose. It's just a time of craziness and Woodstock and hippies and Beatles, and so many bands started in the sixties so you have early Who and Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan and the Zombies, the Monkees... and there is so much love to be shared there....I just love the sixties. This is also a good chance to go semi-political without everyone figuring it out. There were some great protest songs, so you easily sing one of the less obvious songs. Not Eve of Destruction, clearly, but Bob Dylan is always good here.
So why did the first two just kinda sing something...blah?
Then David Cook comes in with Happy Together! It was such an interesting arrangement. he made it his own and preserved the integrity of the song. I really like him, but I want to see what else he can do. I'm excited.
Jason Yeager: Has a kid. Let's all vote for him! Boring song. Why go slow? Stop showing us the kid!
Robbie Carrico: One? Come on, there are so many more songs that would fit you. It's just kinda OK to me. But I just don't think he's "authentic" Long hair doesn't make a guy authentic. Whatever.
David Archuleta: More please! He needs a little more practice, but I really like him. !!!! Fast songs are always a good choice on this show.
Danny Noriega: Awesome enterance. But there are better songs, come on people. Let's do some sixties here. But he has so much personality, he's fun.
Paula's eyebrows look a little wild.
Nexy guy: Um, no. What the hell? That was so bad, there are no words. He's out.
Colton Berry: Ugh, more Elvis. Come on, it was just OK.
Garrett Haley: If he didn't have long hair, he'd look so creepy. Don't do a slow song the first night, please. I would find breaking up with you easy. And get rid of the crustache please. Yuck.
Jason Castro: Such an interesting face. I can't get enough of it. GUITAR!! And I like the song choice. So *cute* He looks like a celeb that I can't put my finger on. Ahh, John Travolta. From the side when he's singing, lol. I like him! How cute! He's all mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1one
Michael Johns: Finally. Some interesting sixties music. This is what I'm talking about. Even though I think there's better songs for him.
Overall: maybe I'm just really really bias because I adore the sixties. I've said it so many times. But come on people, try and pick better songs!!!!! Dumbasses. I thought there was more talent among the men, but I guess I was wrong.
Who do I think is gone? The guy I don't know the name of because he sucked so bad. Colton possibly. Maybe the guy with the kid. But Luke Menard.
