SUMMARY: At the attempted world meeting, there was uh... a lot of drama. Hungary has barely slept much at all since she's been on here and sort of snapped. Austria reluctantly took her out, carrying her out of the room before anyone got hurt.
The absolute last thing he'd wanted to do was strike her in any way, shape or form. Well, outside of play, as she'd gotten some of that treatment on her rear while they were married, but. She was threatening America with a broken bottle, and as irritating as he was being, God help them all if she managed to provoke someone that powerful.
She seemed confused as he ran, clutching her over his shoulder. He ran to the sink to get a cup of water and laid her down on their bed, placing the cup on a nearby table for when she was ready. He firmly placed a hand on her shoulder, lest she get any ideas of bolting again. He knew her when she was upset and reckless, and he knew that it often would take several attempts at calming her down before she finally did. He hoped to God that part had already passed.
It had been years, but he knew this well.
He leaned down to kiss her forehead. "Honey, please, just breathe. You need to rest."
