She had decided that she would stay here awhile, letting her thoughts stew in the silence and was intervened only by the occasional voice or the buzzing of insects.

Earlier she had brushed her hand down her arm, only to remind herself that there wasn't anything there, crawling and covering her. She wasn't suffocating in that cramped, dark place, dreaming.

This was real. The smells were real. This warmth on her face was unmistakable, in the place where she had been sitting on the ground for awhile; cross-legged among the dirt and foliage.

Seeing the rest of the internal design, it was a wonder how this ship managed to earn its namesake. It almost seemed like a satire to a bigger joke. Even the peaceful oxygen garden had an unsettling feel to it that she couldn't quite place.

It didn't help startle her any less when she found herself wrenched back to the present, being addressed by a familiar voice -- belonging to a woman she remembered called herself Ariadne.

"Hey." Her response came out plainly; her eyes momentarily closed before looking back up at Ariadne. "It feels that way, doesn't it? Not a whole lot of people here -- for the ship being as big as it is."

Her weight shifting ever so much from one leg to the other, as a slightly awkward silence fell between the two - not out of rudeness of course, but out of uncertainty more or less. As even Ariadne, who wanted to think, she usually could find the right words for most occasions. Found that in all honesty, even she didn’t know what to say for a moment. As it was obvious to Ariadne, she possibly was interrupting something.

"Don't think I caught you're name last time we talked." She calmly pointed out, flashing a slightly brighter smile. All in hopes of gaining the woman’s trust, as she honestly just wanted to make some headway with the woman.

"And you're right, not that many of us here." She admitted then, shrugging a shoulder slightly as she did. "But I guess that is okay." As the idea of there being thousands - as to which it seemed this ship appeared to be able to carry - slightly worried her.

"It's Rey."

Seeing that Ariadne had caught on to her disinclination to reveal her present state, she had made an effort on a few occasions to avoid introductions whenever possible. It almost seemed to be a relief to finally have something to offer -- whether if it was real or not.

Rey shrugged, almost reflecting Ariadne's gesture. "I guess." Almost an echo. "Though it seems like this ship was intended to carry a lot more."

A name! That is a step in the right directions, and only causes her to smile a bit wider nodding in acknowledgement at it. "It's nice to meet you, Rey" She admits letting her attention drift all around them again, obviously making mental notes of all of what she was seeing.

"I've noticed that as well." She said then as her attention settled back onto Rey. "Why I came down here." Her head motioning down towards the sketchpad she carried under her arm then, letting a sheepish smile cross her face as she did. "I wanted to get a few sketches of this place - at least start to get an idea of what is in this place."

Her brow went up then, as she looked at her curiously, asking: "Am I interrupting anything?"

She regarded the sentiment with a nod. While she'd seen many faces so far -- all of which were completely alien to her -- Ariadne had to have been the more welcoming out of the bunch.

Rey didn't mind telling her that name.

"I've been doing that myself. Getting an idea of what's here, I mean. There's still a lot to take in." She tilted her head at the sequential question, almost confused at first. To her, there wasn't much to interrupt in the first place; just sitting around doing nothing but processing. "No, you're not. Why're you asking?"
