Alright. My advice to you would be to go and drink a large glass of water. You'd be surprised how many headaches are caused from dehydration.
Instead of rubbing the side of your head, try massaging the back of your neck and the base of your skull. [ John lifts a hand to touch the particular area. He looks expectant to see you do the same. ]

I can't claim to be very well versed in medicine or anatomy or anything along those lines - and one certainly can't argue with twenty years of experience - but will it really help to address the problem here- [ meaning the back of his head ] -when the pain is there? Do hands move because they're separate entities, or because they're wired to nerves that connect to the brain? If a person only takes a knock to the spine, why does the body below the damage become paralyzed?

You might also try a hot shower. Usually works to clear the head - good cold reliever too.
