[Cybertronian encryption]
This is Ratchet. Who else hails from Cybertron on this ship?

[Ratchet? Something niggles in his mind that this is not right somehow, but he doesn't really recall why. Though the encryption does not seem fully familiar and that's enough to cause alarm bells. Damn this organic body.]

How are we to be certain you are actually the designation you claim to own? You could be a trap to lead others into a false sense of security and thus when face to face enact your plan.

I have not heard of a Decepticon who would willingly claim to be an Autobot.

[There's a bit of incoherent sputtering for a moment there.]

Spies can be anywhere and claim to be anything if it gets them what they want. They have no qualms in pretending to be an ally before stabbing you in the back!

The 'Cons I know of prefer to shoot you in the front before wasting the effort on backstabbing. Unless one is Starscream, of course.

Starscream being treacherous is common knowledge, especially in his attempts to overthrow Megatron.

However that does not explain why your frequency does not match up with the regulation approved channels that are to be used by Autobots as per the regulation change in Form Delta 456.

Regulation approved channels. [dry snort]

There was only five of us on the initial mission team after Cybertron fell and we went to search for the Allspark. There wasn't much need for regulations.

Of course, without them we'd be in utter chaos and have security leaks everywhere. There is only so much Blaster and I can do in regards to monitoring the radio chatter if someone is discussing a mission on an unsecured line.

[He likely would have kept going on, but something in that statement caught his attention.]

What in the name of Vector Sigma is the Allspark? And why would there be a five mech team sent on a mission to find this item?

The source of all life to Cybertron, of course. And the reasoning? We were the ones who launched it in the first place. We had to get to it before Megatron did.

[What?

What?

If he could reboot his systems he would right now, how do humans cope with anything with these bodies? Instead have a long pause before he comes back.]

If that was then case then all of those Gestalts are fragment ghosts in my processor. I may have had, been, might still have...a small glitched episode that one time that may or may not have lingered in my coding. If it even translates into something in these leaky organic bodies, but I'm certain Optimus Prime and the one you are claiming to be helped create at least one of the combiner teams using Vector Sigma. I’m certain. The haziness isn’t that bad for that memory.

What tricks are you attempting to pull with these tales?

It would be remiss of me to not notice gestalts in the Autobot ranks. So that would lead to the fact that we are not quite from the same Cybertron.

A different, what do you mean not the same?

They actually deactivated me! This is some twisted version of the pit, that round to the back is to blame for all of this!

What Prime did you serve with?

I've spoken to another Cybertronian who is from another world, and you are speaking of things that I do not know of, yet should, so there is a logical reason to believe that you hail from another version of Cybertron.

And I serve with Optimus Prime, the last of the Primes. Sentinel perished over ten thousand years ago.

I think I would have preferred being fully deactivated in that last battle. [That muffled quality is him hiding his face in his hands, before realizing restricted airways is a bad thing.]

At least that stayed constant. [Though, what he would have done if you had said you served someone else is unknown. Likely another flipped table.]

[The face, if you could see it would not be a happy one. He can not escape your types can he, especially as there are so few of their kind on this slagged ship to begin with.]

Oh joy. Yes, that is also the same across the board in this. What would you even classify this merging of multiversal existences in one place?

Perhaps a nexus of some sort. An intersection of multiple universes.
