[ Hello, fellow crewmembers. If your device wasn’t on before IT CERTAINLY IS NOW! Cambridge - still nursing the mental wound of her power being so rudely culled and currently feeling obnoxiously disorientated - technopathically shoves a text transmission your way: ]

[What even.]

Threatening the other people that just woke up will definitely get you every single answer you could hope for.

And if you're that good of a Slicer, couldn't you get the answer from the ship?

[ slicer? That had better not be some kind of insult. ]

what did you just call me.

A Slicer. You slice computer systems to get them to do what you want.

[This is completely common slang for him.]

[ A pause. Slicer. She supposes it isn't as bad as she initially thought. ]

Perhaps I just know how to send a damn good email.

Pretty sure that e-mails wouldn't be able to open up airlocks.

[Whatever emails are...]

I did say they were good.

Are they good enough to hijack a system you might not be familiar with in the least, locate the protocols for the airlocks, and alter the coding to where they'll open?

Perhaps. [ but even she doesn't sound so sure. ] I'm waiting to see if the people in charge of this little operation fancy me finding out.

[Force knows he couldn't, but he's not the best with computers in the first place.] Whoever they are, they might be as in the dark as we are. And I doubt that threats will make them cooperate, even so.

As in the dark as we are? I sincerely doubt it. How else do we explain our presence here - the tattoos - if it isn't all part of some terribly elaborate plan to hold us all hostage against our will?

Have you done anything recently that would drive someone to do all of this to hold you prisoner?

Perhaps. I work for my country's government. [ ...that's all she feels she need say to explain her situation. It's not a lie - she does work for the Ministry of Defence - but her moonlighting as a superpowered operative for a non-elected quasi-government was probably more the problem. ]

Do you have some other kind of brilliant plan, mister...?

[ She trails off expectantly, awaiting a name. ]

Tobias Donn. And my brilliant plan, right now, is to figure out where I am, remember what's gone fuzzy for me, and then figure out why I'm here, ma'am.

[ ohhhhh, Tobias, you get points for calling her ma'am. You can stay. ]

I can't imagine that plan is working out terribly well for you so far, mister Donn.

[Jedi are taught to be polite, after all. It's what he does best!]

Well, it hasn't been very long. These things can take a while, if they're going to be figured out right.

I'm afraid kidnapping doesn't particularly bring out my patient side.
