I seem to remember they made an announcement and said they were just as confused as everyone else and that they lost most of their crew. If something like this has happened twice then maybe they can study it better...
I'll be all right for the time being until they can get us all back, I'm... certainly not needed back home to fight any wars anymore. Not even sure what I'd be doing there, to be honest.
