Name: Heatwave Canon: Transformers (Shattered Glass) What is your character doing?: Being REALLY CONFUSED at suddenly being human. Also he just met another technopath. Also he just wants to meet all the people. Also he's trying to get the ship to talk to him and not just fill his head with images of creepy smiling. Talking to his comm out loud in public because he is a nutbar. Are you willing to have your character get hurt?: Yes. Does your character have a job?: Not yet, and it's killing him. What kinds of plots are you after?: Um. Anything. Which isn't helpful but it's all I've got at this point. Heatwave likes all the people and all the things. He'll probably want to go exploring at some point, though? Just to get a look at whatever equipment he might find (aka: possibly nothing). I'd like him to meet the other Transformers on board in person at some point, too, for crazy inter-dimensional shenanigans. Is your character open for pairings?: Not really. He's still a relatively new character and I'd like to settle him in more both ICly and OOCly before trying that, if at all. I'm not against it if it happens, but I'm not looking for it. Powers: Technopath Skills: Mechanics, engineering, an innate understanding (but not innate efficiency) of mechanics and engineering and physics, hand-to-hand, marksmanship, being oblivious to when he's being weird. He needs to work on his combat skills, though. Stupid human body messing everything up. Likes: Machines! He will want to talk to your comm. People who aren't crazy Autobots, his job (sob he misses having a job), a chain of command, and did we mention machines? Dislikes: People who are crazy Autobots or act like them, any designated enemy, traitors, baddy one-shoes, not having something to do, and...that's about it. He's a really laid-back guy and he hasn't been human long enough to have taste/color/texture dislikes yet. Anything else?:
So. SG 'Con versus Bayverse Autobot. :3 I think once he settles, Heatwave will be all right with Ratchet? I think Ratchet is ranking TF on the ship, what with being CMO. (which will be the next tag as soon as I get back to my inbox o' doom)
Heatwave's already okay with him, he's just...also fighting millions of years of learned wariness. He empathizes with Cliffjumper now |D But, yes, I think he'll like Ratchet. Especially since, yaaaay, ranking officer to listen to!

It's possibly been billions, considering unlike the original comic/cartoon series his universe's combatants didn't get buried for those four billion years...

If the time would cause problems I can retcon or be as vague as possible. It's not like canon is any better.
