I think I had something where I gave personalities to letters/numbers and inanimate objects when I was a kid. That seems to be gone now. I have odder "gifts" now xD

I see the color of sound, which I use to "paint"(in Photoshop) some of my pictures, and it also works the opposite way, as well, meaning I hear light/color. I used to be able to describe the sounds before I was 8, I had a sort of semi-perfect pitch thing. Now, I can no longer just pick out pitches/notes, so now I just describe the sound or replicate it.

On a not very related note, I my hearing range is different from most people. Perhaps wider. I can hear the very high-pitched sounds that monitors make when displaying certains colors, as well as the "inaudible noise" in MP3s(which were created after research to make the noise out of the range of human hearing). This MP3 problem I face is the reason I prefer to get 320kbps encodes whereas most people are happy with 196 or even 128. I hear "symphonies" of electric lights/appliances/etc, which is kind of interesting.

Okay, I'll shut up now, especially since that last paragraph is a physical ability rather than a mental one. Synesthesia sounds cool o.o

Cool, now we have something else in common. I wish I could hear light and color though, that seems interesting. I also see the color of sound too. It's good, cause it's always easier to remember what track a song is on a cd. I always see the color of the song I want and then I can figure out the number. Most of the time I don't even know the names of the songs.

I don't listen to CDs much, so I haven't tried that. I do associate many songs with colors and images (for example, the song I am listening to right now, "Amafurase Tanmaina" by Kagrra is mostly red and orange, and flickering almost like a reflection of flame on rippling blood). I find the titles of songs very important(there's a reason they're there, you know), so I try to remember them. Even really long ones.

I doubt you would want to have the same hearing range as me. The high-frequency noises are very good at causing headaches. I have a headache 90% of the time thanks to both my ears and my eyes. *smacks right eye*
