A pretty much perfect weekend
I am currently laying in bed, it's dusk out and we have no lights on. Marcus is beside me playing some alien game on his lap top. We are both exhausted!!
Friday was awesome! It was my last day at my practicum and I got raving reviews. My clients gave me such touching feedback and my supervisor made me blush from all the praise he gave me. We had such good time together, it was hard to leave but it was also time.
I got home at 6 pm and we had belly dancing rehearsals from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. It made for a VERY long day. But who can complain when you are surrounded by a bunch of awesome, sexy girls?
Saturday was food shopping/cleaning and yoga day. After yoga Marcus made an AMAZING 5 course dinner for Alissa and I. The reason? Well it was an excuse for Marcus to show off his new French culinary skills, my celebration dinner, and our Thai trip planning. Alissa, Marcus and I are planning to live in Thailand for year (4 years from now). We started eating at 8 pm, and at midnight we were still eating (and drinking).
Today was our audition for the u of T's Festival of Dance. We performed 3 dances, and oh my god was i so TIRED after the audition. It's funny how we can rehearse for 2 hours and I barely sweat, but 20 minutes on stage and at the end I could barely get my shimmies going. Marcus was there video taping us, so from Hart House we walked back home. Marcus and his gaggle of girls *giggle*.
While we watched the video of ourselves Marcus made us chocolate soufle YUMMY!!!!! It was so satisfying to watch ourselves, we have improved SOOO much in the past year.
I just finished writing my resume which I will be sending to Bellwood. Keep your fingers crossed, who knows, I might get a job very soon! Too bad it takes me an hour and half to get there!! Grrr!
I guess this whole entry could have been summarized into two sentences: I am so perfectly spoiled. Life is divine!
