i'm fifteen.
goodness it's so weird to be saying that. i'm fifteen. that's now in the higher number if you know what i mean. like not in the lower numbers.. okay nevermind.
april 10, 2006 was a really good day. filled with surprises and excitement. i didn't expect anything big. like i really thought the day would go by and nothing would happen except people passing me greeting happy birthday. i was wrong.. really i was. when i came to school i was given a balloon of hello kitty dressed in a bunny costume and it was from angeee. i liked it and i walked to first period holding it.. and i was happy cuz i got a balloon. when i get into my class someone in my class gives me a bouquet of balloons and it had a note attached saying "we got u..." and i didn't get it and it didn't say who it was from. so i asked the person who gave it to me and she said she couldn't tell me. i had no clue who it was from.. but it bugged me the whole period. so i walk out with a bunch of balloons and everyone's greeting me and i'm pretty happy. i get to my next class and my english teacher hands me another note that goes with my first note saying "something" so the message so far was "we got u something..." i was excited cuz i knew it was going to be like that the rest of my classes. i go to third i get "special" fourth i get "made" so the message so far was "we got u something special made..." and i didn't know what it was going to say but i kinda figured who the person was.. jaimie jean. but at lunch.. my balloons were flying like crazy and they ran into other people's faces and they got mad but hey.. it's my birthday. so kim takes me to her car.. i guess for a little diversion and then we go to the foreign language building.. where me and my friends all usually eat.. as i walk to the door.. audrey and norman come running out covering my eyes.. and yelling at me trying to stop me from walking in. they finally let me in and everyone is sitting at the table staring at me. i was surprised.. since everyone was there. minus julia and golda =[ but.. they were there in spirit. there was a quick silence then all of them started to sing "happy birthday" when jaimie came from the side.. holding my cake with one candle in the middle. i blew it when i made a wish and we just stared at it. jaimie evelyn and monique left.. i knew they were up to something cuz.. they left at the SAME time. they later came back.. when they decided "hey let's cake the birthday girl" so i got cake all over my face.. even though i had to put up a fight for it. it got in my hair too. goodness and then the bell rings and i walk to my 5th period class thinking that it's the end to my surprises and i can relax.. i walk in and there's big bright green card on my desk next to a gift. the card.. had all my friends signing in it and it said HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANELLE on the front.. ahah there were a lot of people that signed it.. but it's cool cuz.. i was happy. the whole thing was pretty much credited to jaimie jean. i couldn't believe she went thru all of it.. for me. i love her.. really i do. she's a REAL ate to me and it's cute how she put up all this stuff.. even though she was late to first period and failed the quiz.. haha.
i came home and kim came with me. i was locked outside my house for a while and then my brother opened the door.
my dad cooked barbecue and kim ate some too while we watched THE NOTEBOOK =)
we didn't get to finish it.. but yeh know as if she's not coming back to my house.
haha track meet tomorrow. i'm going to suck cuz i'm sick.
i had a good birthday this year. i want to thank all my family and friends for just being there to wish me my happy 15.
