My google-fu has failed me

Feb 01, 2007 17:40

I have a strong urge to listen to the music from "Captain Jack Harkness," but silly me, I didn't download it when links were flying around. I have googled, but I can't even find out what this song is called. Google tells me it does not exist.

Help, of any kind, would be appreciated.

It's called A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square and the most famous recording is by Vera Lynn. (I think google's problem is that Torchwood tweaks the lyrics - the real words are "there were angels dining at the Ritz")

I also missed the links that were flying around, but I have an mp3 of Will Young's cover of the song if you'd be interested! (Fairly sure that's who it is anyway- I forgot to label the file properly at the time.) Uploaded over here.
