Pleased for the fact I have inadvertently been decieved into agreeing to an impromptu babysitting sesh with my lil cousin? Im fairness muchos fun has been had by all, we spent the night playing "Lego Star Wars: The Videogame!" which is disturbingly a lot more fun than it probably should be at eighteen going on nineteen, but meh, whatayagonnado?
Oh and I had enhiladas! REAL food! ...granted, it was in a packet ready made and was just bobbed in the oven... But FOOOOOOOOOD and not fucking RICE CAKES. If I see one more snack-a-jack I may cry. I dont care if they are 24 calories, If I have to live much longer on a diet that is (realistically) less than 1000 calories a day it is going to make me SERIOUSLY ill.
Mum doesnt seem to realise this though and still buys no food, while she swans off and eats at the Britannia canteen. So I steal her fags. Seems fair enough. Thankfully Dad is built like a bouncer and bought me cheap greasy takeaway last night, all good munchies. Oh my god I'm so hungry now! In the words of Kate "the flood-gates have been opened." It's now a mere 23 days till the apocalypse that is moving out and when I do I am going to eat so fucking much!

By the time Hayley moves up... FIVE DAYS LATER! We're going to make muffins... and open Haylbucks! Although I may open Pret a Miles, just so there is some healthy competition.
I'm without MSN for two days... this may well kill me. Therefore anything I need to say to anyone who has lj I will put here instead:
Hayl - We need to go to Manchester some week so that we can go to the actual benefits office because we can only apply for housing benefits in person apparently.

On things in the life of me, Matthew and I went out in Leek the other night which was actually very very nice. We went to the Belgian beer bar Den Engel's (The Angel) and had Leifmann's which is a draught cherry beer and sat outside in the courtyardy bit. It was really nice and was so much better than just going out to get pissed. Then we went to the wine cellar at 64 which I heart so muc because it is like being in a proper French vinyardesque cellar and smells all musty, but is actually incredibly gorgeous and posh. I love it down there because it's never busy as it's one of those places you don't know about unless you have been shown it as it is the cellar to a restaurant, and as the restaurant itself is the most expensive in Leek, not many people have been! Well anyway, there we had Hoegaaden and lemon followed by good ol' Newcastle Brown! I'm starting to love Belgian beer a bit too much... think I'm middle aged! Then we went back to mine anyhow and all in all it was a *really* nice night out.
That's about it I think. I'm so screwed with work because I arent at home until Saturday now and cant get my phone so I cant see Jane and therefore I'm going to officially be sacked. More importantly than being sacked I feel I've let Janers down, which actually bothers me a lot. Manchester is a new start and I am going to be less of an idiot, I feel more grown up all of a sudden, it's weird. It was the thing about the horror films that got me started. So yeah, time for Miles to grow up... a *little* bit.
Oh and on random news, Jay tried to phone me yesterday then texted me twice. I was so pleased for him I accidentally forgot to reply and accidentally deleted all trace of his number off my phone completely, all by accident of course. Ah well, shit happens. I'm impressed that if this had happened say, three months ago, I would have been so broken up and confussed I wouldnt have been able to even think coherrantly (or less so than usual) and now It's at the bottom of my entry. Something... or someone... must be a bit different now. Hmm... intreaguing!
Oh and my song du jour which you should all go forth and download is "Thank God" by MSI which I found on the Promo for the Thank God single that I got. Ironically it ended up *being* the single.
