*finishes up with playing Chica Chica and a few other songs of theirs. Then goes into some Beatles songs. The crowd is getting going, and John can't help smiling as he plays, doing his best live performance*

*Dean speaks once they finished playing Day Tripper* ~Now, for a special treat for us all, well, most of us. *looks over at John* The birthday boy will sing.

*John is a little shocked, and he blushes, trying to back out of it, but Simon presses him, and then the crowd cheers for him*

Fine, all right. If I'm singing, then I'm going to pick the song. *goes to the mic, and Dean leaves the stage and goes straight for the bar*

*John looks out into the crowd for Liz* I'm going to sing a very special song... one that has a lot of sentimental value. Because it's our song.

*band starts up, and John sings:*

I give her all my love,
That’s all I do
And if you saw my love,
You’d love her too
I love her

She gives me everything,
And tenderly
The kiss my lover brings
She brings to me
And I love her

*she's sitting at a little table in the back, stirring her drink slowly with a straw as she watches him, smiling hugely to herself, her heart feeling full and loved, that he'd sing their song in front of so many people*

A love like ours,
Could never die
As long as I
have you near me

Bright are the stars that shine
Dark is the sky
I know this love of mine,
Will never die
And I love her

*John tries concentrating on just playing the song and staring at Liz as he strums, enjoying the look on her face*

*she feels the blush creep up her cheeks, and she looks down and takes a sip of her drink before looking back up at him through her eyelashes, still smiling*

*finishes up the song, and then as it ends, the crowd cheers and claps. John smiles, blushing a little, but rather proud of himself. They decide to go into a different song almost right away*

There are places I remember
all my life,
Though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone
and some remain

All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends
I still can recall,
Some are dead and some are living
In my life,
I’ve loved them all....

But of all these friends and lovers,
There is no one compares with you,
And these mem’ries lost their meaning
When I think of love as something new

Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before,
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life
I’ll love you more

(short guitar strum)

*she hides her face a little with her drink, but she's smiling so hard her face is in danger of breaking, still blushing hard*

*ends the song in a bow, like the Beatles do, and everyone cheers*

*she applauds harder than everyone else, her hands stinging by the time she finishes. She just can't stop smiling at him, knowing he's doing it for her*

*smiles, then nods at David* I guess we can do one more Beatles song before we leave the stage.

*winks at Liz*

*laughs* Oi, you in the crowd! *points at David* No more alcohol for you. *some people laugh*

*into the mic* I apologize, but because we don't have a full orcastra with us, I don't think we can do Eleanor Rigby justice. How about a different one?

All right, you twisted my arm. *laughs* But this is the last song before we quit for the night, because we need to get some drinking in! *band crows at that*

Okay, mate. This song is for you.

Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play?
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It’s beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play?

Dear Prudence, open up your eyes
Dear Prudence, see the sunny skies
The wind is low, the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence, won’t you open up your eyes?
