First of all, I want to say Happy Holidays to my flist. I know I haven't been around here as much as before and I have been missing A LOT of you as well. But still, I don't see myself ever giving up on LJ completely ... so with this post, I also wish on great days ahead of you. You know, the Mayans are starting to count down to the End of Days, in 2012, but let's keep the spirit up and think positive, shall we?
I just came home from work trip from Yogyakarta. I haven't had a lot of projects since I went back to school last September. But I got enough this month that I could splurge a bit while I was there. Unfortunately, I cannot enjoy my "holidays" yet. As a matter a fact, I will be busy writing papers for my take-home exams, which should be delivered on the 2nd and 3rd of January. THEN, I can relaxed a bit until 2nd semester starts in February. I haven't been doing very well with the study, I struggle to make sense of writing long papers. I'm just used to writing points during my working years. I really hope that I can pass the exams well enough. Wish me luck, flist ...
By the way, since Angelina Jolie's first directorial debut has just been released, she was in a couple of interviews talking about the movies. I spent almost two hours watching one with Anderson Cooper and one with Chris Rose via Youtube. MY GOSH, she's so beautiful and it is clearly how passionate she is about the story. I would love to be able to watch In The Land of Blood of Honey in its original language. I know that I have lost my passion for movies, in fact, I might just target like 10 movies next year (grin), but I still want to see that one. I just watched Moneyball today -- and it's pretty good!
